Refund Policy
Effective date: May 1, 2025 ยท Last updated: May 12, 2025
RetainKit purchases are processed by Paddle, our Merchant of Record and authorized reseller. Paddle handles payment processing, tax, invoices, cancellations, and refunds in accordance with Paddle's Buyer Terms and Paddle's Refund Policy.
Refund policy
Unless required by applicable law, transactions are non-refundable and non-exchangeable. Paddle may issue refunds on a discretionary basis, or where you exercise an applicable statutory withdrawal or refund right. Nothing in this policy limits any mandatory consumer rights that apply to you.
Statutory withdrawal rights
Where local consumer protection laws grant a right to withdraw from a digital content or service contract, those rights apply. For example, consumers in the European Union, EEA, Switzerland, and the United Kingdom may have a 14-day statutory right to withdraw from some digital content and service contracts. Paddle applies its refund policy and applicable local consumer law when reviewing refund requests.
Subscriptions and cancellation
You may cancel a subscription at any time to stop future billing. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period unless Paddle or applicable law requires otherwise. If a transaction is not eligible for a refund, cancelling prevents future renewal but does not automatically refund the current period.
How to request a refund
To request a refund, use the "View receipt" or "Manage subscription" link in your Paddle transaction email, visit paddle.net, or contact us at [email protected] and we will help route your request to Paddle.
Processing
If Paddle approves a refund, it is processed to the original payment method where possible. Access to the refunded product or subscription may cease after the refund is issued.
